Jane is a pretty one, sweet face and bright eyes.
Behind those bright eyes is an imagination that knows no bounds.
One day travelling through snowy fields the next planning the best way to bath an elephant.
I have loved working with this little girl,
I like how we have slowly come to know each other.
She is essentially just like one of my own children, quiet and unassuming,
she takes a little while to get to know but once you have her trust you will see how delightful she is.
Jane is one of my Mabel style dolls , she is a bit bigger than 18" tall and made from all natural materials, cotton skin fabric, Tasmanian wool stuffing an hand embroidered face. Her hair is mohair weft crocheted into a wig.
Her smock top is a gorgeous tiny floral print edged with a delicate cotton lace edging on the puffed sleeves and ric rac at the hem. Her bloomers are a lovely soft tan linen embellished with embroidery on the lower bands.
She has pretty knickers too in a hailspot cotton voile with lace trim.
She has a hand knit cable pompom hat knitted to my own pattern, the yarn is a plant dyed hand spun wool. Her wrap is a woollen handknit from a Winterludes pattern and her boots are a mad monkey knits pattern and are made from a hand dyed yarn, it's called sunshine which is a perfect name, sunshine boots.
Jane and her clothes can be gently handwashed.
The doll and her clothes are not suitable for children aged three years or younger.
She would best suit a child aged 5 years or older or an adult collector
Jane has found a home.
Thank you all so much
