Oh my, such a sweet girl. This is Meg and I love her so. I know I say that a lot but this little one is such a gentle soul. She surprised me really, she was sitting quietly, waiting for her moment to shine I think. She is cuddly and delicious.
When I was a little girl I didn't have a teddy bear. I had a doll, made from some rubbery kind of plastic with very sad hair. You might have had a doll with sad hair too, it was just around the hairline and pulled back into a ponytail. The rest of the scalp was bald. She wasn't cuddly and had almost no hair. I don't remember her name but I know she was mine from the time I was very small. Thankfully when I was three I got a baby sister and she was better than any doll or teddy.
Meg doesn't have sad hair, she has sweet beautiful fluffy preschooler hair and she has a best friend teddy called Max. He was fun to make, I had to downsize an old pattern but he turned out just right.
Meg and Max will be available in the shop now, just click on the link/menu at the top of the page.
Thanks so much for sharing my creative journey with me.
