A week that was definitely focused on family with my brother's 60th birthday celebrated at the lovely Red Feather Inn in Hadspen , a small village just a few miles out of town.
Trips to Evandale market, two Sundays in a row. Another small village out of town that bustles every Sunday with a busy market full of food and hand made goods and trash and treasure. I found a perfect little 1930s baby dress one week and blackberries for a pie the next.
The second visit to the market was with my sister, home from the far north of Australia for a few days.
Getting used to having my daughter home full time while she looks for work and discovers what she wants to do education wise. She bakes biscuits, she makes cups of tea, she chats and talks about big subjects. She makes jewellery and clothes. She plays music.
Hope your week was full of family and baking.
