Spring has arrived here in Tassie with so much vigour. The garden is simply bursting with new growth and for once the garden plants seem to be growing as fast or faster than the weeds.
Earlier in the year I bought myself a laptop so that I didn’t have to sit up at our very old and very slow PC. It’s in a part of the house that is the hottest in the summer time and the coldest in the winter. My little laptop was so lovely and I treated it so carefully and then after a month of use a manufacturing fault caused the screen to crack. We had to fight so hard to get the company to fix it, not really assisted by the store where we bought it. Anyway, in the end the screen was replaced free of charge and by the end of August we were good to go.
After that experience I have been a little timid about using it but we have got through another month without disaster so my confidence is up. It really is so much more relaxing to be able to just sit on the couch and talk to you. More spontaneous too so I hope I will visit this space more often now.
Apart from gardening and lots of family time and lots of knitting I have been happily getting on with making my dolls. I have a new little girl for you in the shop tomorrow. Her name is Robyn and she is a cosy snuggly one.
So happy spring/autumn to you. I hope you can make the best of the season as we wind down towards Christmas.
